Goodnight Crystal! June 04 2016

Jacob Glass , one of my favorite New Thought lecturers, encourages people to put a beautiful stone or crystal on their pillows after making their beds in the morning. Before you retire for the evening, pick up your crystal and think about three positive things that happened to you in the course of your day. Don't just list them off, feel those good feelings again! Right before sleep is probably the most fertile time for planting positive thoughts into the subconscious. So many people lay awake before sleep and go over the days problems and screw-ups... don't do it! It's over, it's in the past. Tomorrow is a new day, a fresh start. You now have clean ground in which to sow the seeds of an abundant and joyous future. Try this, if only for a week,  and be amazed at how much more positive you feel.

I started off using a big hunk of Rose Quartz but have since switched to Celestite. It's calming energies seem well suited to bedtime-- crystal workers place it on the body to relax muscle tension. It is also said to help communication with guardian angels.

After trying this for a week, you may want to add a journal to your bedside table and in the morning when you wake up, write down three things that you intend for you day. Not tasks, not your to-do list, but three things you would like to experience: "I want to feel more energetic today.", "I want to notice the beauty around me." "I want to feel a sense of ease while sitting in traffic." Yes! That can really happen. But you have to intend it first.

Our mind is closest to the subconscious when we are falling asleep and when we are waking up. These are the two most powerful times for setting intentions. Take advantage of these moments by creating daily rituals that support making your intentions manifest. It's easier than you think and the rewards are significant.
